- Objectives

In keeping with the Vision and Mission of the Sangham, the following Objectives are set as the immediate targets:
- To organize economic activities, for the amelioration of the sufferings of destitute women, deserted wives, abandoned children and other socially handicapped persons in the rural areas.
- To undertake such other functions pursuant to the development of economic activities mentioned above.
- To organize the beneficiaries into SHGs that can collect herbal ingredients and sell the products
- To make use of the existing SHGs and other organizations in the collection of herbals and the marketing of the products
- To train workers and other category of staff for the realization of the above objectives.
- To purchase, stock and distribute raw materials, implements, etc, for the development of economic activities.
- To co-operate with other organizations having similar objectives especially with the Gandhigram Trust, Gandhigram.
- To secure funds from the Government, both state and central, public, Khadi & Village Industries Commission, Banks and other funding agencies and do all such things as may be necessary for the furtherance of the above objectives of the Sangham.
- Supporting the activities of Sowbhagya Illam and other non-profit-making services of Gandhigram Trust.
